Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21, 1983. Maggie Grace is an American actress best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. After the divorce of her parents, she left Worthington in Ohio and moved at Los Angeles. Her first role came to her as Rachel's Room's title character, in 2001 despite struggling with finances. She went on to earn an Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 for her performance as 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder set in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford played the lead actress in Lost during its initial two seasons. In 2004, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award with the entire ensemble. Leaving the series Grace wanted to appear as a film actress, and had played opposite Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. She appeared on screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) and opposite Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in 2008. In 2008, she reprised the role Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). In addition, she played Alice on Malice in Wonderland which is a modern version that the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played Shannon's part on Lost for two more episodes, including the series final. Grace appeared in Californication's 6th season, which aired between 2013 and the year 2014. She plays Faith an actress who serves as a model for the stars, and draws the eye to Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She is a member of the Gyllenhaal clan and the older sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager She appeared in small roles in the films of her father and she co-starred alongside her twin brother on Donnie Darko the popular cult movie. Then she appeared in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received nominations for the Golden Globe Award in both the romantic comedy Sherrybaby (2005) and in the love story Secretary (2002). Both films received acclaim from critics. Following a string of commercially successful movies in 2006, including World Trade Center she received greater recognition for her performance as Rachel Dawes in the superhero film The Dark Knight (2008). She was nominated for the award of Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards for her role of a single mom on screen in Crazy Heart. In the following years she was a part of comedies and dramatic films: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012. Some of her other roles are as an agent for Secret Service in White House Down 2013, as a singer for Secret Service in White House Down 2013. She also appeared as a vocalist in Frank 2014, and in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she is the main character. Gyllenhaal was first introduced as a writer and director in 2021, with the psychological drama The Lost Daughter. For this film she was awarded with the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice International Film Festival and nominated for an Academy Award.
