MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international inroads into the Latin popular music scene. In 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his debut full-length album. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked the album at 8. He then joined Ozuna on the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia was his collaboration with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that season, Dopamina became his second album. Then in 2021 he sang the duet for TINI's smash streaming single Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was raised in a music-oriented environment since both his mom and younger brother are musicians. In interviews, Turizo declared that music is an essential part of his life. He was taught how to play guitar, saxophone the ukulele and piano when he was when he was a child. In spite of initially wanting to work as a vet, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban singing teacher would change his direction in life.
